Pigapalooza! Kids - Que!

On Saturday, March 9th, Pigapalooza! will be hosting Kids-Que! 1st place in each of the two age brackets will win $100! Cook time begins at 9:30 a.m. This competition will be in two age categories: (5-9 years) and (10-14 years). Entry fee is $25.00 and may be paid by check to City of Mulberry P.O. Box 707, Mulberry, FL 33860 OR pay online below.

Kids-Que Rules:

Pigapalooza! want to thank all applicants. We have put together a family friendly event for all to enjoy! Below are the rules and guidelines. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We will provide the competitors with the following items: (all will be given to every entry in the Kids-Que.)

• 2 chicken breasts

• Grill

• Charcoal

• Apron

• Plastic gloves

• Turn-in boxes

1. We strongly recommend that each competitor compete in both the Chicken category (provided) and the

“Anything Butt” category (you provide). You may cook anything you wish for this category (Think shrimp, steak, veggies, etc!).

2. The kids may bring spices, sauces for cooking, and garnish for the turn-in boxes. Be creative.

Other items you may bring: spoons, knives, sauce brush, tongs and spatulas, oven gloves (mitts).

3. We will not allow any grill enhancing items to be used such as grills, charcoal, chimneys, starters or heat beds. No heat source other than the charcoal provided will be allowed by any competitor. Pigapalooza! will provide the grill and charcoal that each child is required to cook with in the competition.

4. Safety is a major concern for the event organizers. We want the competitors to have the experience of the BBQ competition but want them to be safe. Please let the kids do as much as possible for the age group they are entered in.
